Our Mother's Day Skype with Sis. Hansen

Sis. Hansen didn't write a family letter like she usually does, because we got to visit with her via Skype, which was delightful! She shared an experience with us during our conversation:

(Note: Sis. Hansen mentioned the name of her former companion, who is not American, and I apologize, I tried to bleep it out, to protect her privacy/safety. Please don't mind the bleeps. -lh)

And she shared her testimony with us in Russian:

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. Later that same day (for her), it was her P-Day, so we got to hear from her again, via e-mail. Here are a couple of things she shared with me:

"but seriously mum.  i love you with my whole entire heart.  thank you for the photos you sent this week (seriously.  love them heaps!) and for the videos of arm wrestling (hahhaha) and for all the things.  most especially though, thank you for being my mum.  sorry i didn't even ask about your day.  how are you?  how was it?  did they cook for you? did you get flowers?  all the things.  today was seriously like Christmas for me and i'm sorry that i didn't ask more questions about all of you but i hope you know i'm thinking about you always and that i love and pray for you every single day."

i hope you have a good rest of the night and cried less than i did.  hahahah.  but i love you so much.  i love our family so much.  and i am so so so eternally grateful that you are mine!!  you keep doing your work and i'll do mine and we'll see each other soon :)

heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps,
sister hansen
